Cisco Kid vs Donald Trump

Kosmo Vinyl was an integral part of the 70s/80s English music scene. He's best known as the promoter/manager/ringmaster & rabble-rouser for The Clash and Ian Dury & the BlockheadsThese days, the former-Londoner turned New Yorker keeps busy as a visual artist & 'cultural curator'. His 'Pop-Art influenced' collages have a Punk aesthetic and pay homage to the beautiful game, especially his beloved West Ham United FC.

n 2016, he took aim at the "un-presidential" campaign of Donald Trump with an Instagram-based art series, Cisco Kid vs. Donald Trump. A selection of the digital images were transformed into physical prints which made their New York City debut in 2017 during Armory Week, at the SPRING/BREAK Art Show. A handmade Cisco screenprint was created in 2016 for the Decatur Book Festival in Georgia, the largest independent book fair in the US.

Kosmo's first exhibition was at London's Eb & Flow Gallery in 2013, followed in 2014 by a show in Somerset during the FIFA World Cup. His US debut was in Atlanta a few months later, presented by VINSONart at Lightroom Studio. In 2015, Kosmo created limited-edition art prints for Record Store Day, and he contributed to the Secret 7" charity exhibition in London. He completed Is Saitch Yer Daddy in 2016, a five year project that chronicled WHUFC's last five seasons at the historic Boleyn Ground.
