This exhibition explores the impact of the D.C. punk band Fugazi, both as musicians and as activists. Data visualizations illustrate the band’s elaborate networks of connections, while archival visual materials—fliers, correspondence, photographs, fanzines, and more—further express the meaning of a band that was about more than its music. Co-presented by the Smithsonian Folklife Festival and DC: The Social Power of Music.
